The Cut
Every single day 6000 girls feel their flesh being cut away. It's time to question why! For 5000 years girls in Africa have suffered and died from female genital mutilation. In the name of tradition the lives of 3 million new girls are endangered every single year. And now female genital mutilation has migrated to Western countries. Why? In search of the answer to this ever important question, we hope to find the key to eradicating the practice. This film will reveal some of the reasons why. Status: in development.
