ROCK A DOODLE
In collaboration with Sonet film Sweden, we licenced the Scandinavian distribution rights of Don Bluth's family entertainment cartoon “Rock A Doodle”. Hollywood film was to handle the Norwegian theatrical, video and TV distribution.
We realized that the content of the film may be lifted even higher than the original, if we were able to find someone who could “fit in” for the dub/sound. Four charming “Hillbillies” carrying the name: “Vazelina Bilopphøggers” seemed to be perfect for the job, as they already were a local/famous group and their music seemed to be perfect for the concept. They were contacted and they immediately loved the idea.
It turned out to be quite a “heavy” project both when it came to investment and work, but in the end it all made sense, as the audience as well as the critics, just loved the film. |

WAKIN' UP
Some young enthustiastic guys had an idea of making a Wake board documentary in Lysefjorden, wich is one of the most beautiful and stunning fjords, close to our office.The guys were in a desperate situation, as they knocked on our door. The production was about to start, the production crew was ready, but they were still missing the top finance.
Hollywood Film was seduced by the project and decided to help them out. |

THE CUT
This documentary aims at providing information and facts about female genital mutilation through the stories of those whose lives are affected by it. It will also put the spotlight on possible ways of reducing and hopefully eradicating the mutilation.
Complete production ready for broadcast by May 2008.
